Makeup:

Model name: Lia
Skin type: combination
Skin tone: medium skin with yellow undertones
Natural eyes/contacts: natural eyes
Allergies: none
Medication: none
Any open wounds/scars, cuts etc.: none

Required products: cleanser, toner, moisturiser, Kryolan HD micro foundation palette, Kryolan glamour glow palette, Kryolan lip rouge palette, Lancôme hypnose drama mascara, Kryolan translucent powder and Ruby cosmetics dark brown brow powder.

Required materials: makeup brushes (Kryolan set), cotton pads, cotton buds, beauty blender, spatula, mascara wands and a gown.

You will firstly need to set up your station, and stick on your face/hair designs on the mirror:

- Now, gown up the model and ensure your hands are clean. Next, cleanse and tone the face using cotton pads. After, you will need to apply moisturiser using your fingers.

- You’ll need your Kryolan HD micro foundation palette for this part. Scrape out shades 430 and 100 using a spatula onto the back of your hand. Apply this on using a kabuki brush.

- Now you’ll need to conceal. For this part only apply shade 205 underneath the eye from the same palette using a flat concealer brush. Blend this out using your beauty blender and set it with the Kryolan translucent powder. To set the makeup, you can use any powder brush.

- For this look, you won’t be contouring. Instead, mix shades blush peach and natural tan from the Kryolan glamour glow palette and apply this just onto the apples of the cheeks using a small powder brush.

- For the eyebrows, fill them in using the ruby cosmetics brow powder in shade dark brown. Follow the natural shape of your models brow. You can do this using a brow brush or a flat eyeliner brush.

- Dip a mascara wand into the Lancôme hypnose drama mascara in shade black and apply this onto the top and bottom lash line. Use a different wand for each eye. Don’t go too heavy with the mascara.

- For the lips, you’ll be applying shade LC003 from the Kryolan lip rouge palette. Do this using a thin lip brush.

Hair:

Required equipment: pin tail comb, a tong, hairspray, paddle brush, hairband and sectioning clips.

After having completed the makeup, you’ll need to move onto the hair. Make sure you use the medium sized Babyliss tong from the cupboard (it’s black in colour). The curler should take about a minute or two to heat up. Ensure it’s on the highest temperature.

Firstly, brush the hair using a paddle brush to get rid of any knots. You must section the hair into two parts. The first section will be at the front, till about behind the ears. Secure this with a sectioning clip.

The remaining hair from the crown downwards must be put into a plait bun. In order to do this, tie this section of the hair with a hairband and plait it (a basic plait). Then twist the plait around in a circular shape. Finally using bobby pins, tuck in the end of the hair to hold it in place.

Moving onto the front section of the hair, create a centre parting using a pin tail comb; then spilt each section into three smaller strips of hair. Using the tong, curl each strip of hair coming towards the face. Note that you shouldn’t curl from the root. The curls should start just above the ear. Now this step is very important as if you curl the hair the wrong way, it will completely change the era. Continue to do this on both sides of the hair. Finally, use hairspray to flatten down the roots of the hair.

Accessories:
